A slurry wall is a key piece of the toxic waste management on the CFAC site. EPA has decided that the best remediation solution is to keep the buried waste in place and build an underground wall around it, essentially, to limit its movement into groundwater. Slurry wall technology has been widely used in similar situations and is an impressive engineering solution.
